Investor Immigration Visa

Investor Immigration Visa

The Provincial Entrepreneur Programs in Canada enable immigrants to establish businesses in various provinces. These programs are specifically tailored for entrepreneurs with the requisite experience sought by individual provinces.

Provincial Entrepreneur Programs

The process for obtaining permanent residence through the Canada Investor Visa program involves two key steps:

  • Provincial Nomination: Each province administers its own entrepreneur immigration program, requiring active management of a business. Applicants must meet specific criteria to be nominated by the province.
  • Work Permit and Business Operation: Successful candidates receive a 24-month work permit to begin their business operations in Canada. During this period, they must demonstrate their ability to manage the business effectively and create jobs.

Upon fulfilling the program requirements, candidates will receive a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) certificate, which allows them to apply for permanent residence. Applicants must also pass medical and criminal record checks as part of the process.

Once selected and granted permanent residence, candidates may eventually apply for Canadian citizenship.
